Questions and Answers

Affiliate Marketing?  I’m just signed up for an affiliating marketing program. I was wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with this type of business. Is this a good business? I would like to hear the good as well as the bad. Maybe some good advice on some niches to focus on. Any tips would be great. I’ve tried some home business opportunities before but they all were scams. I really want to succeed with this. Thanks to all.

mauritzdevill@yahoo.com  You could focus your niche on things people really want, not what they need because not many people buy what they need they buy what they desire!
You could go to ebay and check the ebay pulse section and find out what people are searching for and buying the most, and then drill down into that niche so that you are not competing in a general niche where thousands of other people are promoting their stuff.
The Lycos top 50 is also another good source to find out what is being searched for the most.
When you find a hot niche you will need to milk it for all it’s worth! Which means setting up a website with articles on the niche you have chosen, plus the affiliate products you want to promote on there as well. You could also set up an autoresponder so that you can collect peoples email address so that you can carry on selling to them even when they have left your site.
You will also need to write some unique articles based on highly searched for keywords that have low competition anything under 50,000 competing pages should be fine, submit them to ezine articles and include your link to your website in your authors resource box. Try to write at least one article per day.
If you do not want to pay for a website then you can easily set up a free blog with either blogger or wordpress.
Remember to update it daily.
Another way to get traffic to your site or blog is to set up a squidoo page on a specific subject in your niche and link it back to your site or blog.
There is a lot more than this to it but if you take it step by step and continue to build around your niche then over time you will start to see the money coming in.

What is the best affiliate marketing program for beginners?I’m new to affiliate marketing and I need a way to make some money online.  I’m not looking to get rich quick, I just want to make a couple hundred dollars a week.  Are there any affiliate marketing programs that give you a website, marketing tools, and help market your website?

mauritzdevill@yahoo.com  If you are new to online marketing I would recommend SiteSellIt. They have an EXCELLENT walk through that gets you going in 10 days. Their tutorials are top notch, their keyword selection tools will really get your thinking and they practical take you through everything from start to finish.  Plus they are currently offering a special, ie buy one get one free. They also have links to help you pick out what affiliate programs to use how to choose what to market etc and very helpful forums with others just like yourself who have been there done that and want to help you.  I’ve been online for 10 years doing this and I just signed up for it and I’m blown away by all of the good information.  I’ve even learned a few things.  Its all information that you could probably find elsewhere but they put it into the best online package and walk through that you will find anywhere.  If you are serious about online marketing there is nothing better out there.
Free Affiliate Marketing Programs?  What are the best affiliate marketing programs that pay very well but are free to join?
I see some programs say payment % CPO and some CPA what’s the difference?

mauritzdevill@yahoo.com  It depends on what you want to sell, or what your website is about. Every affiliate program I have ever seen is free to join. The problem is their payout rules. Some won’t pay until you get a certain amount of sales, and if you don’t make enough sales in an allotted amount of time they won’t pay out.  I’m thinking Commission Junction is one that does that. The best programs are those that pay for clickthroughs or for leads. You can make quite a bit of money with those, but they are harder to find.  Also, Clickbank is very good for digital products.  Most products you sell through  Clickbank will pay 50 to 75 percent of the sale. How Affiliate Marketing Works - Copy
